The RCN Foundation has partnered with the Leathersellers’ Company to offer education grants to nurses who support child and adolescent mental wellbeing.
Are you a non-mental-health-registered nurse working with children and young people experiencing challenges with mental health and emotional wellbeing? Are you interested in developing new skills in this area during the 2022-23 academic year?
You are invited to apply for the RCN Foundation Leathersellers’ education grant and attain a postgraduate qualification that enables you to develop your confidence, skill, and understanding in this area of nursing.
If your application is successful, you will receive a grant up to £1,600 to undertake a UK-accredited postgraduate module in child and adolescent mental health. The skills you learn will be applicable to patient care within your own clinical setting.
To apply for this grant
You need to be:
-
A UK non-mental-health-registered nurse working with children and young people who are experiencing challenges with their mental health and emotional wellbeing; and
-
Able to start a UK-accredited postgraduate child and adolescent mental health module between 1 September 2022 and 1 September 2023.
